Latest with the Lutz’s

Things are starting to get back to normal. Jeremy has hired another person to work so his evenings should be better. 1 of 5 and 2 of 5 are still doing swim team. They are both doing so good, and improving their skills. It is amazing how their swimming skills grow from the beginning of summer to the end.3 of 5 is determined to join swim team next year. We have still got to get her to swim from one end of the pool to the other. But 3 of 5  is keeping busy with her piano lessons. She is doing pretty good and enjoys it for the most part. The other day when I was driving her to piano lessons we got to chatting about how Kindergarten went last year. She was telling me how much she was going to miss it and her friends (now that she is a big 1st grader). Then she paused for a moment and sighed and said “Good times, good times!” I about lost it. She picks up these phrases and it just kills me…hearing that out of a 6 year olds mouth. She is a hoot!

4 of 5  is keeping busy with her artwork…. on the wall, her desk, and of course on paper too. Her hair is getting sooo long I asked her the other day if she wanted to get it cut off. You would’ve thought I was suggesting to cut off her left foot! She was very adamant that I would not be cutting her hair any time soon. She is in constant competition with 5 of 5 . If he goes to Daddy’s lap she has to get on it too. If he wants up well then she wants up too. Poor kid! She has got that middle child thing going on.

5 of 5  is just as cute as can be! We just can’t get enough of his hugs and kisses. He is all boy! He wants to play ball non-stop, be outside, dig in the dirt, play with rocks, climb on everything, tumble downs, and gets back up like nothing happened.

It is funny how all 5 of my kids can be so different from each other….and yet all of them came from the same mom and dad! There is this book I love “The Enneagram of Parenting” by Elizabeth Wagele. It is cool cuz it talks about all the “types” and where your child fits. And how to raise them according to their personality type. It is quite interesting.

I’m excited to have this blog. I’m hoping I’ll get a little more techno savy now! Now I gotta learn how to add pictures.
